Entrepreneurship Curriculum Helped Students Grow Family Business During Lockdown: Sisodia

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Friday said that several students of Delhi government schools helped to grow their family businesses based on their learning from the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC). Delivering a keynote address at the Ashoka University’s Entrepreneurship Education Conference, Sisodia said that there was a need to develop “an entrepreneurial mindset in our students in a way that they can contribute to their economy”.“I went to one school to ask whether EMC has helped them, one student said that after attending entrepreneurship classes, she was able to help her father by making an online marketing system for mobile repairing work. Delhi govt schools to teach lessons in patriotism from next session – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Delhi government will launch the patriotism curriculum from kindergarten to class 8 in all its schools from the next academic session. The syllabus will also work towards helping students develop a thorough understanding of the self, family, school, society, nation and the world. The Delhi government says the objective of the curriculum is to reinforce the values and skills in children that contribute towards nation-building and prepare the student evolve into a responsible and alert citizen. NEW DELHI: Amid rising coronavirus cases, the Congress, here on Sunday, said Delhi had entered the community spread stage but the state government was hiding facts. Addressing the media, senior Congress spokesperson Ajay Maken said unlocking was a bad idea and opening of malls and other places could cause more damage.
