VISAKHAPATNAM: The Andhra Pradesh education department has postponed the intermediate (10+2) examinations scheduled to be held from May 5. In an official statement on Sunday, education minister A Suresh said that the state government took the decision after the AP High Court recently asked them to reconsider its stand of going ahead with final exams of class X and XII in the wake of raging second wave of Covid-19. “Respecting the Court’s opinion, we have decided to postpone intermediate examinations,” said Suresh. NEW DELHI: The government of Jammu & Kashmir has ordered the closure of all schools, colleges, universities, technical/skill development Institutes in the state due to the spike in Covid-19 cases across the state. All the educational institutes in the state will remain closed till May 31, 2021. The schools and coaching institutes in the state will remain closed till May 10, and all the classes and academic activities will be conducted online.
