KU to conduct exams in offline & online mode – Times of India

KURUKSHETRA: In view of the apprehensions regarding Covid-19, transportation services and residence related issues expressed by Kurukshetra University’s (KU) affiliated colleges and students organizations, the university administration has decided to offer option of online mode along with offline to students for appearing in the examinations commencing from March 1. KU VC Prof Som Nath Sachdeva said that students’ interest is at the top priority of the university administration. “Students belonging to rural areas face internet issues and this decision has been taken in their interest also. CBSE extends deadline for pvt candidates to apply for class 10, 12 exams from Feb 22 to 25 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday extended deadline for private candidates to apply for class 10 and 12 exams from February 22 to 25. It also stated that there would be no further extension of the schedule. "As per the request received from several candidates of previous years that they were unable to fill their examination form as private candidates for examination-2021, for classes 10 and 12, CBSE has decided to extend last opportunity to these candidates to fill their form only online," the board said in an official order. "Candidates need to pay a late fee as applicable. No further extension in schedule will be given," it added. CHENNAI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will allow candidates select exam dates if their JEE (Main) exam and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII board exam dates are clashing. As per the date sheets released by the CBSE, biology exam will be held on May 24, while the final session of JEE (Main) is scheduled to be held from May 24 to 28 when more than five lakh students across the country are set to appear.
