Karnataka II PUC supplementary result 2020 announced – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Department of Pre University, Karnataka has declared the 2nd PUC supplementary result 2020 on its official website. Candidates, who appeared for the Karnataka PUC II supplementary exams, can check their results online on the official website - karresults.nic.in. The Karnataka PUC II supplementary exams were conducted from September 7 to 19, 2020 in which around 2.12 lakh students appeared. The exam paper valuation was held in 11 camps in Bengaluru from September 23 to October 5, 2020. Around 3,162 teachers have been deployed for the evaluation of examination papers. According to the information, the candidates belonging to the rural areas recorded higher pass percentage then their urban areas counterparts, who registered 39.95% to 45.78%. ONGC sees Rs 6,000-7,000 crore loss on gas business – Times of India

NEW DELHI: India's top oil and gas producer ONGC on Friday said it is losing Rs 6,000-7,000 crore on natural gas business after the government-mandated rates for the fuel dropped to a decade low. The government-mandated rates are way below the cost of production of $3.5-3.7 per million British thermal unit, Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) director (Finance) Subhash Kumar said. Every dollar reduction in gas price leads to a revenue loss of about Rs 5,200 crore and a Rs 3,500 crore on profit. "Our losses will be in the order of Rs 6,000-7,000 crore in current fiscal," he said. Mid-corporates staring at 16% revenue fall: Report – Times of India

MUMBAI: Retaining a negative outlook for the mid and emerging corporates, India Ratings on Friday projected a near 16 per cent fall in revenue in 2020-21 due to the persisting liquidity and macroeconomic headwinds and sees a recovery only in the second half of the next fiscal year. In its previous forecast in May, the agency had forecast 6.02 per cent fall in aggregate revenue. Odisha CPET for Admission to Postgraduate Courses to Begin on October 12

The maiden Common Post-Graduation Admission Entrance Test (CPET) for admission to master's degree courses in colleges and universities in Odisha will begin on October 12, the state Higher Education Department announced on Friday. The examination will continue till October 22 with strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines, said Higher Education Secretary Saswat Mishra. The admission will be held in 83 streams this academic session, he said. The common entrance test will help alleviate the hardship of students, particularly of those residing in remote areas, Mishra said.
